3. Integrations

Guides administrators through setup integrations, including PayPal, CCC, Mitchell, QuickBooks and Launch Scanner.

Prerequisites

  • Have your manager (administrative) credentials from the welcome email ready before PayPal® integration setup through Settings on EstVis website.
  • CCC®, Mitchell® and QuickBooks® integrations require Desktop Server installed and launched.
  • Launch Scanner integration requires mobile device (smartphone or tablet) with Android and installed Launch Scanner and EstVis mobile apps.
  • Collect integration credentials you will need: PayPal Application ID and secret, CCC, Mitchell, QuickBooks credentials.
Settings pages are available at estvis.com/settings. Many workflow and company parameters are edited there.

PayPal Integration

The integration allows making customer payments through PayPal.

See PayPal Integration tutorial for details.

Store integration keys securely and only provide credentials to administrators. When enabling payment connectors, test with a sandbox account before accepting real customer payments.

Mitchell Connect Integration

EstVis imports estimates from Mitchell and can integrate with Mitchell Repair Center Connect for assignments, status updates and photo export.

See Mitchell Connect Integration tutorial for details.

CCC Integration

EstVis integrates with CCC ONE to automatically import estimate files (.EMS) and export photo documentation.

See CCC ONE Integration tutorial for details.

QuickBooks Integration

EstVis integrates with QuickBooks to synchronize invoices and payments between your bodyshop workflow and your accounting system. Integration supports creating and editing invoices, registering payments (credit card, PayPal, checks, cash), and synchronizing unregistered PayPal transactions to QuickBooks and EstVis.

Launch Scanner Integration

EstVis can automatically import diagnostic reports produced by Launch Scanner and attach them to the corresponding case folder so they are available for viewing and exporting from EstVis (Workflow and Mobile apps). This integration is designed to simplify diagnostics documentation handling and keep diagnostic files together with the rest of the case data.

Asterisk Integration

EstVis integrates with an Asterisk® SIP PBX to provide basic telephony features inside your bodyshop workflow. When configured, EstVis can:

  • Show customer and vehicle information on incoming calls (screen pop-up).
  • Make outbound calls from EstVis Workflow by clicking the telephone icon on a case.
  • Match calls to existing cases and customers for faster service.
  • Record call metadata (who called, which case, time) and optionally link call recordings if your PBX records audio.

This integration requires an existing Asterisk server (self-hosted or hosted SIP provider) and EstVis components that bridge events: the Desktop Server and the Workflow app.

Color Mixing Software Integration

EstVis integrates with major color formulation and paint mixing systems – including Axalta®, PPG® and BASF®, so your painters can generate precise paint consumption invoices and have them automatically recorded in the case folder. This integration helps you track actual paint usage, create supplements when consumption exceeds estimate and keep accurate accounting records for insurers and shop finance.

EstVis is not an estimating tool. Color mixing systems provide actual material consumption data which EstVis records and uses to create paint supplements and reports.

Supported vendors:

  • Axalta
  • PPG
  • BASF
