CCC ONE Integration
How to configure CCC ONE and set up EMS file import in EstVis Desktop Server.
EstVis integrates with CCC ONE® to automatically import estimate files (.EMS) and export photo documentation. All CCC ONE integration settings are configured in the Desktop Server app on the computer that has access to CCC Secure Share files and services.
Overview
This guide shows how to:
- Configure CCC ONE to export EMS files to a folder Desktop Server can read.
- Set the EMS Files path in Desktop Server and adjust the watcher frequency.
- Enable and configure CCC ONE connection in Desktop Server.
- Test the connection and troubleshoot common errors.
Configure CCC ONE to export EMS files
EstVis imports estimate files with the .EMS extension. Point Desktop Server to the folder where CCC Secure Share exports EMS files (this can be a local folder or a network UNC share).
- In CCC ONE open the main menu, expand Configure on the top panel and click Machine Settings.

- In the dialog select Import/Export → EMS Extract Preferences from the left-hand list.

-
Ensure these checkboxes are enabled:
- ☑️ Create Estimate
- ☑️ Lock Estimate
- ☑️ Lock Supplement
- ☑️ Save Workfile
Make sure these checkboxes are enabled. If they are not, you will need to manually export each Workfile from the CCC ONE interface. Also do not enable options like Prompt to confirm for these events – prompting can interrupt automatic saving and exporting of estimates. -
Still in Import/Export, open the File Export section and note or set the folder path where CCC Secure Share writes EMS files. This is the path you will provide to Desktop Server.

- Click OK to save CCC ONE / CCC Secure Share settings.
Set the EMS files directory in Desktop Server
-
Launch the Desktop Server application on the machine that will handle CCC integration.
-
Click the gear icon in the top-right corner to open Settings.

-
Switch to the Path Config tab.

-
Locate the EMS Files Path field (ensure it is not already assigned to another integration such as Mitchell Connect). Paste the folder path you copied from CCC Secure Share. You can also click the ... button to browse and select the folder.
-
(Optional) Set how often EstVis should scan the folder for new files by entering a number (minutes) into EMS Watcher Delay.
Notes and best practices
- Use UNC paths (\\server\share\path) for network folders instead of mapped drive letters. Desktop Server may run under a different Windows account or service and mapped drives might not be visible.
- Ensure the Windows account running Desktop Server has read access to the target folder. If Desktop Server runs as a Windows service, that service account must have network permissions.
- Confirm CCC Secure Share successfully exports EMS files into the configured folder before attempting import.
- If you need to import from multiple providers (Mitchell, CCC ONE, Audatex), configure separate EMS folders and watcher delays for each source.
Enable and configure CCC ONE connection in Desktop Server
-
In Desktop Server settings open the Connections tab.

-
Find the CCC Integration group and enable the Enable CCC Connect checkbox.
-
Enter your CCC ONE credentials in the Login and Password fields.
Your credentials are stored securely and are not transmitted elsewhere. -
Configure polling settings:
- Check Interval – how often (in minutes) EstVis polls CCC ONE for updates.
- Check Days – how many days back EstVis should check for new assignments.
-
(Optional) Configure additional integration options by enabling or disabling these checkboxes as needed:
- Upload export pic to CCC – allow exporting photo documentation files to CCC ONE.
- JOB ID as RO – when enabled, the EstVis case RO will be set to the Job ID value from CCC ONE.
- Check mechanical lines – automatically correct lines marked as Body Labor to Mechanical when appropriate.
- Check EnvClaim – force-merge incoming estimates to an EstVis case found by VIN and Claim number.
- CCM – enable if you use CCC Customer Management services.
- Create Workfile in CCC – EstVis will automatically create a Workfile in CCC ONE when a case is created.
- Check EMS Export Discount – check and account for parts discounts included in the EMS estimate.
Test the connection
On the Connections tab click the Check button. If settings and credentials are correct you should receive a success notification.
Troubleshooting tips if the check fails
- Re-check your Login and Password for CCC ONE and try again.
- Verify the machine running Desktop Server can reach CCC ONE services (internet access and no outbound firewall blocking required ports).
- If EMS import does not occur, confirm EMS files appear in the configured folder and Desktop Server has read permission for that folder. Use UNC path for network locations.
- If Desktop Server runs as a Windows service, ensure the service account has access to the network share.
- Review Desktop Server logs for specific error messages and include relevant log lines when contacting support.
If you cannot resolve the issue, contact EstVis support at support@estvis.com and provide:
- A short description of the problem
- Desktop Server settings screenshots (the Paths and Connections tabs)
- Any error text from the Check result or Desktop Server logs
