Adding Bodyshop To The Account

How to connect an additional registered bodyshop to your EstVis account. Includes step‑by‑step instructions and troubleshooting tips.

This page describes how to add an additional bodyshop that is already registered in EstVis to your account. You can add an unlimited number of registered bodyshops to a single EstVis account for easier management of multiple locations.

Bodyshops added to the account are billed separately.

Before you start

  • You must have the Desktop Server (system) credentials for the bodyshop you want to add. These are the login and password sent in the welcome email when that bodyshop was registered in EstVis (they are sometimes called the server's credentials).
Do not confuse manager (administrative) credentials with system (Desktop Server) credentials. Manager credentials are used to log into the EstVis web interface, Workflow or mobile apps. System credentials are used by the Desktop Server and are required to connect a registered bodyshop to your account.

If the additional bodyshop is not yet registered in EstVis, register it first at the EstVis homepage: https://estvis.com. Click the Register button in the top-right corner of the site to create a new bodyshop account.

If you see Settings and your account name instead of the Register button on the EstVis homepage, click your account name and then choose Log Out. After logging out the Register button will become available.

How to connect a registered bodyshop

  1. Open the Settings page.
  2. In the left menu, select Connect registered bodyshop.
  3. In the form that appears, enter the bodyshop's Desktop Server credentials into the DC Login and DC Password fields.
  4. Click Connect.
  5. After a successful connection, refresh the page. The added bodyshop will appear in the bodyshop dropdown list in the top-left corner of the Settings page.

Troubleshooting

  • Invalid credentials or connection failed:

    • Re-check the DC Login and DC Password for typing errors.
    • Confirm you have the Desktop Server credentials (not manager/admin credentials).
    • Ask the other location's administrator to resend the welcome email if the credentials have been lost.
    • Ensure the other bodyshop's Desktop Server is running and accessible from your network (firewall or VPN restrictions can block the connection).
  • Connection succeeds but the bodyshop does not appear in the dropdown:

    • Refresh the page or log out and back in.
    • Verify that the bodyshop is registered under a different EstVis account and that you connected using the correct credentials.
  • If you cannot resolve the issue, contact EstVis Support at support@estvis.com. Provide the Desktop Server login name, the bodyshop name, and a screenshot of any error messages.

You can add multiple registered bodyshops to your account. Each added bodyshop keeps its own data and billing, but will be conveniently accessible from your account for management and workflow purposes.
